In Britain we abolished the death penalty back in 1965, after a series of innocent people were hung. But in America, capital punishment still remains, with 1,442 death row executions taking place since 1976 (including 2016). DEATH ROW is a short radio documentary exploring the sentence given to American murderers and hearing the stories of those who have been closely affected by the penalty.
